Towson Green

Towson Green is a traditional neighborhood development consisting of 121 for-sale townhomes on nine acres in the heart of Towson, MD in Baltimore County. Located between Towsontown Boulevard and East Burke Avenue just east of York Road, Towson Green is within easy walking distance to Towson Town Center’s numerous stores and restaurants, and minutes from downtown Baltimore and the Inner Harbor. Towson Green was built to achieve the NAHB National Green Building Standard™ Silver Level and will be one of the most environmentally conscious communities in Maryland, offering sustainable design, construction, and finishes, as well as ENERGY STAR appliances. All of the homes will be ENERGY STAR certified. The community includes a pocket park and a tot lot. The central amenity is a rain garden – a bio-retention area consisting of aquatic plantings that treat storm water runoff – complete with walkways and benches. Towson Green lies within Baltimore County’s Towson Commercial Revitalization District, and as a result, qualified for a Revitalization Property Tax Credit, a benefit for the homeowners. Under this program, homeowners will benefit from a significant reduction in their real estate tax bills for a period of five to ten years. Towson Green was a $57,000,000 project completed in 2016.
