Bozzuto is seeking a Transitions Manager to lead property takeovers, due diligence projects, and dispositions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will be able to travel with little notice to ensure all projects a completed accurately.
As the Transitions Manager, your primary responsibilities include:
Takeover/ New Business/Due Diligence Delivery and Coordination
- Ensure adherence to takeover, new business development, and due diligence deadlines and budgets
- Support the development and activation of Bozzuto global initiatives, and new product development efforts by communicating relevant insights to the team
- Work closely with property teams in the implementation and execution of Bozzuto programs that yield brand alignment
- Schedule and host meetings with internal (Bozzuto) and external (Owner/Investor) parties.
- Provide onsite assistance with due diligence and takeovers and any reporting that needs to be completed.
- Coordinate takeover training with Director of Training for all new hires.
- Provide logistical travel support for all activities with takeovers and due diligence activities.
Operations and Brand Standards Support
- Serve as the liaison between Client Services and other functional departments within the company
- Coordinate with compliance to ensure the company is obeying all laws and regulations regarding how we manage the business, our teams, and the treatment of their consumers.
- Monitor the disposition process and ensure all departments are cooperating within the company.
- Assist with providing support (training, standards, operations) for new property openings
Business Operations
- Act as liaison with RMIS and work with BMC to adhere to all property insurance requirements
- Assist with the supervision of the Business Operations HelpDesk
- Provide support for lease administration through Blue Moon
What You Bring to Us:
- 5+ years of manager level experience in multi-family property or hospitality management (preferred)
- Ability to travel (up to 60%) with short notice
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to assist in multiple cross management capacities
- Customer service
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency with industry software (YARDI), apps and computer programs
- Exposure to rent collection processes, budgets and account receivables
- Familiarity with property management, and mixed use /retail.
- BA/BS degree (preferred) –OR– equivalent work experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop concise and on-brand messaging.
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and deadlines.
