The staff is amazing but the construction in the area is loud and obnoxious, sometimes until 11 pm. It’s generally a safe neighborhood and close to a metro station.

Aperture is not place to call home. However, over the 4 years there have been incidents with the fire detector going off, construction going on next door, and rent increases of 10% at least each lease.

The fire alarms need recalibrating, if possible. They're super sensitive and my fire alarm goes off when I take food out the oven or use my air fryer. I consistently hear other neighbors alarms going off as well.

Been staying here since 2 years now. 2022 was full of fire alarms. There were very few alarms at the beginning of 2023. Living here was great. Good gym, great concierge.

Fire alarms at 3:30 am; it has been 20 minutes nonstop and still going. There was also one in February one random evening. The alarms are so loud it is damaging to any human or animal’s ears to stay in inside, while also freezing to be outside.
