Julie Escanilla

Julie Escanilla leads Bozzuto’s talent acquisition team delivering world class recruiting expertise and an exceptional candidate experience for all hires. She is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to amplify Bozzuto’s employer brand, leveraging social media and digital channels to connect with the talent community. In collaboration with university partners, her team seeks to continually enhance Bozzuto’s relationships on campus and with the emerging workforce. Julie also oversees diversity recruitment initiatives in alignment with organizational objectives.

Previously, Julie was Chief Human Resources Officer for Northpond Ventures, LLC, a $2B+ life science venture capital firm. In this start-up, she expanded the HR capabilities from payroll and benefits to also encompass talent acquisition, organization development, performance management, talent development, compensation, and HRIS. Prior, Julie worked at Marriott International, Inc. in HR leadership positions, primarily in talent acquisition and HR business partner roles.

Julie earned an M.A. in counseling and personnel services from University of Maryland, College Park and a B.A. in psychology from University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She was also previously certified via HRCI as a Human Resources Professional (PHR).
